Seasonal Intern CI/Production Assistant

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a CI/Production Assistant to work at our food processing facility in Escalon, CA. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements, suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.
Benefits & Compensation Overview:
· Pay $22.00/hour
· Union facility (this is a Non-Union position)
· Five California Paid Sick Leave Days
Work Schedule:
· Schedule is based on 7 days per week production (July through October)

· Each season, our tomato crop begins with seed varieties that have been carefully cultivated by our research team to provide the best balance of flavor, aroma, and color. Job Overview:
Are you ready to join a fast-paced work environment with a team dedicated to producing high quality tomatoes found in more than 30 different food service products consumed all around the world?
Develop a thorough understanding of the factory systems including the operating logic of all the systems.
Update and maintain databases of all factory reporting.
Run data traces on all factory lines.
Develop specifications for peeling equipment
Assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions.
Assist in maintenance problem solving efforts.
Analyze KPI’s to determine causes of downtime.
Assist in training operators on new systems.
Able to communicate efficiently between cross functional departments.
Help reduce chronic problems and optimize performance of existing systems through analysis and implementation of solutions.
Ensure that all operations comply with OSHA regulations.
Provide a safe work environment for all personnel through consistent support of the company’s KHC Safety Process.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
· At least 1 year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably within a food processing company supporting CI/production programs.
· Educational achievements will be considered and can be used in conjunction with experience.
· Proficient in PC supports MS programs Excel and Word.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
· Applicants must have good organizational skills and be able to work independently with little supervision.
· Spanish speaking highly preferred.
