Job Description
This role is responsible for leading the Global Sustainability Data team to deliver high-quality data and actionable insights that drive business decisions on sustainability performance. This role is responsible for supervising the team to ensure effective data management and analytics, collaborating with business stakeholders to understand sustainability business needs, and developing targeted insights to address these needs. Additionally, this role will optimize processes and resource allocation, serve as a liaison across teams to ensure seamless reporting and regulatory compliance, and streamline requests to the Digital team to eliminate inefficiencies and duplications.

Assess data readiness for KPIs, identify improvement areas and deploy resources to fix it

Ensure data readiness for future data requirements based on regulatory and market landscape assessment, anticipating needs and liaising with different subject matter experts

Oversees the team's work on preparing data for internal and external reporting, analysis, modeling, including financial models and projections

Closely work with Sustainability Subject Matter Experts and Controllership function to ensure data follows Standard Operating Procedures, being responsible for revising them together with the relevant stakeholders
High quality, data-based insights generated in engaging and informative formats to support business decisions:

Liaises with stakeholders to understand needs and assess if results addressed requirements;

Critically assesses dashboards and generates insights from data coordinating with Business Intelligence Analyst Sustainability and Controllership

Constantly identifies areas for improvement to continuous drive data insights excellence
Sustainability:

Strategically reflects on business needs and creates dashboard and insights to reflect those needs

In collaboration with Global Digital & Data team defines strategy for sustainability data management and insight generation
Efficient process to manage sustainability data:

Acts as the key point of contact for internal sustainability insight requests: Aggregates and prioritizes data related requests to ensure they are fit for purpose

Supervises team of 3 Sustainability Insights Managers closely coordinating with agile pods for delivery

Works in close collaboration with Global Head of Sustainability Governance and Integration as well as Global Sustainability SMEs to build business processes to incorporate sustainability data in KHC processes, primarily in procurement, manufacturing, research & development

Engages with different functions, zones and with the Global Digital & Data team to secure an efficient process is in place to manage sustainability insights and data
Fit for purpose IT infrastructure and processes supports Sustainability Data:

Identify system support needed and liaise with IT team to secure the right IT infrastructure is in place

Collaborate with Digital and IT teams and understand their priorities to ensure smooth implementation of required processes, budget allocation, resource availability and coordination across functions

Bachelor's or master's degree in a field where quantitative and data skills are needed
-
10+ years of experience

Data expert with business insight;
-
Able to translate business needs into data requirement language and also able to communicate data insights in an engaging way to partners with varying levels of data familiarity and understanding

Experience in guiding team members, providing feedback and working together to bring results
-
Experience in navigating a complex organization: pragmatic and results oriented with familiarity in managing partners and building bridges

Master in Excel, PowerBI, SQL, AI, data models, data structures
-
Master in visualization of data, aggregation of information, presenting insights to various levels of seniority
-
Strategic thinking applied to data gathering and visualization
-
Problem solving and build skills to deal with data challenges and come up with solutions

Open to feedback and eager to learn; a true team player
