We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team at Kraft Heinz in Düsseldorf as a Commercial Finance Analyst (f/m/d). In this role, you will support two key business areas – Just Spices and Kraft Heinz GAS (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). As part of a high-performing team, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive profitable growth through pricing, assortment strategy, and optimization processes.
Your Responsibilities
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial and strategic insights that support commercial decisions and promote sustainable revenue growth.
Your main tasks will include:
- Business case management: You develop and present well-founded business cases to support strategic initiatives and investments
- Evaluation of innovation projects: You analyze the profitability and financial feasibility of new product ideas
- Pricing strategy: You set and evaluate price levels (PTR/PTC) to maximize margins and competitiveness
- Assortment management: You will assist in streamlining products and contribute to portfolio optimization
- Promotional effectiveness: You will analyze promotional activities and recommend mechanisms and frequencies to optimize ROI
- E-commerce analysis: You provide insights based on key KPIs such as conversion rate, customer acquisition cost, marketing ROI, customer lifetime value, and retention cost
- Financial support for VE projects: You collaborate with other teams and support value engineering initiatives with financial analyses
- Sales promotions: You provide recommendations on pricing and margin optimization for clearance activities
- Mix optimization: You analyze product and channel mix and develop measures to increase overall profitability
- P&L analysis: You provide stakeholders with insights into P&L performance, recognize trends, and identify levers for improvement
Your Qualifications
- You have at least a bachelor's degree, ideally in finance, management, or business administration
- You have around 2-3 years of relevant professional experience – ideally in a commercial role in the FMCG sector or in strategy consulting
- You have a strong understanding of finance, particularly with regard to P&L analysis and financial modelling
- You are fluent in English; German is a plus
