Position Summary
Description & Requirements
Kraft Heinz Global Internal Controls Team is seeking a Sr. Manager / – Internal Controls, India to lead our Center of Excellence around Internal Controls and Compliance in Ahmedabad, India. You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Technical Competence:
- Responsible for leading a team of about 30 Internal Control resources to support control testing across global business processes, configuration controls, ITGCs and special projects that could include M&A Integration, system implementations etc.
- Assisting in the execution of annual risk assessment and scoping for all global business processes.
- Driving critical program objectives, including executing the annual SOX calendar.
- Improving depth of understanding and rigor of walkthroughs and control design assessments.
- Leading controls rationalization efforts, including improving control descriptions, mapping to financial statement assertions and associated risks.
- Evaluating control deficiencies, identifying mitigating controls, and communicating them up through Global Internal Controls and key stakeholders.
- Partnering with process owners to identify and incorporate impacts of system, configuration, business, and process changes to the Kraft Heinz SOX program.
- Lead HR, performance management, and career development for team.
- Provide challenging and career-developing experience to team members.
Lead selection of resources and role alignment of individuals to grow and build the team.
- Partner with global leadership for special projects and lead team through such reviews.
- Flexible to work across global time zones and travel (domestically and internationally).
- Lead continuous knowledge enhancement/ knowledge sharing sessions.
- Identify and document improvements in business process flow on a continual basis.
- Define the short-term and long-term strategy of the Internal Controls Center of Excellence.
- Proactive, organized, can manage multiple projects at once, and enjoys working under pressure.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, by adopting appropriate communication style to individuals at all levels of the organization and remaining open to disagreement or new ideas.
- Communicate regularly and timely with Global Internal Controls management and other stakeholders as needed.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving & organization skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance; MBA or relevant work experience
- Recognized professional qualification(s): CA/CPA/CIA is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in a variety of roles within finance, accounting, controllership or business consulting with minimum 5+ years in leadership positions. At least 4 years of External/Internal Audit/Risk
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of internal controls and audit practices.
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), risk management, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, PCAOB).
- Understanding of external auditor requirements and expectations for SOX ICFR compliance.
- Accounting or auditing experience in a large multi-location organization with complex operations preferred.
- Good knowledge of FMCG key business operations- with in-depth knowledge in the areas of; supply chain- marketing- information systems- sales- and customer service- trade- etc.
- Experience working with and general understanding of enterprise resource planning applications (i.e., SAP S/4, GRC)
- Demonstrated managerial experience of leading large teams.
- Strong written and oral communications skills in English.
