Job Title: Taste Elevation Sr. Manager – FP&A
Location: Mexico City, Mexico
Position Overview
The FP&A Sr Manager role serves as a key finance partner within our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Mexico City, providing FP&A back-office support to the Taste Elevation Finance Team based in Chicago. This role oversees a team of 3–4 analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial planning, analysis and reporting services. The position plays a critical role in driving performance insights, supporting forecasting and budgeting cycles and enabling data-driven decision-making. Operating within the Global Business Services (GBS) framework, the role also focuses on process optimization, standardization and effective collaboration across global finance stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities for the Taste Elevation business unit, including month-end reporting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance tracking;
- Manage and develop a team of 3–4 FP&A analysts, ensuring high-quality output, stakeholder alignment and professional development;
- Act as a key liaison between the Mexico-based back-office FP&A team and the Chicago-based Taste Elevation Finance team, ensuring smooth collaboration and knowledge transfer;
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of FP&A processes in line with GBS and GCC best practices;
- Deliver ad-hoc and recurring business performance reports, dashboards and financial insights to support decision-making;
- Support budget cycles (AOP, forecasts, strategic planning) and contribute to top-line and profitability analysis;
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial governance standards;
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, and Supply Chain functions;
Qualifications
1. Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) or any finance certification (FPAC, CFA, CPA, CMA) are considered a plus;
2. Experience
- 7+ years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Business Controllership;
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end FP&A processes;
- Experience working in a shared services or Global Capability Center environment preferred;
- Strong business acumen, ideally within Food&Beverage or FMCG industries;
3. Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working in a matrixed organization;
- Strong leadership and project management skills with a track record of successfully driving process improvements;
- Proficiency in excel and FP&A systems (e.g. OneStream, Board, Anaplan), ERPs (e.g. SAP, Oracle), and analytical tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau);
- Expertise in process automation, digital transformation and lean methodologies is a strong asset;
