DEPARTMENT: PROCESS CHEESE – Legacy
WORK HOURS: 3rd Shift (2230-0630), but may vary
WORK WEEK: Mon-Fri, but may vary
Primary Purpose:
· Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Barrel Dumper is primarily responsible for operating the barrel dumping machine, removing cheese from the barrel and removing the plastic liner and mold from the cheese.
Job Responsibilities:

Maintains Kraft, quality standards by checking quality of (seals, code dates, labels, packaging of
-
product, weights, odor, color, temperature of product, etc.).

Record keeps as the need arises on manual, computer, and other systems.

Accurate identification and transfer of product.

Ensures that housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area.

Maintains machinery in good operating condition by accurate cleaning and lubrication.

Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions.

Follows Kraft Heinz GMP’s!

Actively participates in and takes part in QCMS.

Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in MES applications.

Performs sanitation duties when required.

Performs other duties as advised by the Leadership Team.

Must maintain processing equipment by applying the KHMS system and settings.

Must attend DDS meetings daily, 30 minutes prior to start of shift.

Performs variety of maintenance-type tasks such as change-overs, set-ups, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc.

Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.

Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.

Knowledge: Basic math, reading, communication, and digital literacy.

Working Environment: Primarily indoors, with heating and cooling regulated in a general production environment.

Physical Requirements:
Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting and reaching to both ground level and overhead.
Lifts, carries, pushes, pulls and moves up to 100 pounds.
Holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity vital to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
