Human Resources Business Partner at a glance…

The Plant HR Business Partner provides both tactical and strategic HR generalist leadership for the Plant. In this role, the incumbent will apply experience and expertise to solve problems, develop, and implement objectives for self and others all while affecting short-term and long-term business goals.

  • Analytics: use data and analytics to inform key business and talent decisions
  • Compliance: champion the application and interpretation of HR systems, policies, and programs guaranteeing adherence with federal and state employment laws
  • Culture: ensure to demonstrate Kraft Heinz’s mission, values, and initiatives
  • Employee Engagement: build solid relationships with employees and advocate for their job enrichment, engagement, and development
  • Labor Relations: handles employee & labor relations by investigating, resolving and communicating employee questions, issues, concerns, grievances, and sets labor strategy for the facility
  • Process Management: own and implement human resource processes, including the following: workforce planning, compensation administration, organizational change/efficiency, process improvement, staffing and pipeline development, training opportunities, and organizational development
  • Strategy: evaluate business challenges while developing and recommending solutions
  • Supervising: manage hourly employee(s)

  • I have a core knowledge of HR fundamentals and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, benefits, L&D, DEI&B etc.
  • I have strong eye for business, project management and technical proficiency in workplace technology and systems (e.g. Workday, Microsoft office, etc)
  • I have demonstrable track record to communicate successfully with senior leadership and other key customers through data and insights
  • I have excellent planning skills, ability to work consistently within established guidelines

The Avon factory is a union site located in New York about 25 miles outside Rochester, NY. The plant employs nearly 250 salaried and hourly employees. The plant produces all of Kraft Heinz Cool Whip and is 1 of 2 plants that produce Oscar Mayer Lunchables. There are lots to explore in Avon and surrounding areas of Rochester NY with Niagara Falls just a short 80-mile drive away.

Avon Plant

Base Salary Range: $99,100.00 – $123,900.00

Target Total Cash Range: $123,875.00 – $154,875.00

Target total cash represents this role’s annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
