What's on the menu?
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate and understand how mechanical equipment operates and develop innovative solutions to problems.
- Must have knowledge of how to use hand and power tools, work in confined spaces, on ladders, in lift baskets, etc.
- Must have basic electrical knowledge, and troubleshoot a problem in a logical, step-by-step method.
- Must be agile with the flexibility to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good English oral and written (reading & writing), interpersonal skills, including writing requisitions for purchase, PM’s log notes, etc.
- Demonstrate the ability to read and follow technical manuals and learn to use Maintenance computer systems.
- Must have good organization and time management skills.
- Work "off shifts", weekends, and complete assigned training.
- Mathematical knowledge, including fraction to decimal conversions, percentages, ratios, multiplication, division, and basic algebra.
- Physically lift, carry or hold heavy equipment parts such as motors, pumps, tooling, etc.
- Must enroll and pass courses at local Technical Schools.
