- This is a role for someone who craves a global challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable for delivering against goals for the Canadian business here at Kraft Heinz. It is both a strategic and a tactical position.
Role / Title
- This role will work within its Label Compliance group and will be responsible for nutrition and regulatory compliance for products in the Canadian market. This position provides the opportunity to interact with cross-functional members of the various Kraft Heinz business units as well as corporate business partners and functional experts across Kraft Heinz.
Key Components of the role
- Ensure regulatory compliance of products, labels, advertising and promotions as well as adherence to policies and guidelines
- Develop nutrition and regulatory technical information for ingredients and products
- Review/approve label graphics for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy
- Review advertising and promotional materials for technical accuracy and compliance
- Provide nutrition and regulatory guidance on project teams to enable accurate decision-making
- Stay abreast of nutrition and regulatory developments and identify opportunities and implications to the business
- Manage and elevate consumer inquiries and support corporate requests
- Partner with R&D and business teams to identify opportunities for the brands
- Complete and store documentation to support regulatory requirements and claims (CFIA) and interact with regulators and/or third-party agencies as necessary
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Nutrition, Food Science or related scientific field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Regulatory, Nutrition, R&D or Quality with a global/US food manufacturer; or applied nutrition/dietetics; or experience in the food service industry/culinary.
- Excellent problem solving, organization, and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn computer software programs for data collection, management, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently on projects, with broader regulatory team support as needed.
- Ability to handle complexity, multiple projects and work under tight timelines
- Strong drive for results and ability to bring projects to completion

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$73,200.00 – $91,500.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
