Demand Planning Manager

 

About the Position 

 

As The Demand Planning Manager, you will report into the Head of S&Op and Logistics for our business unit (BU) – Eastern Europe in Amsterdam . you will be responsible to deliver results individually and through a team of 3 demand planners. Eastern Europe BU unit is responsible for Kraft Heinz business in 25 countries in Central East Europe, Israel, and Exports. We do business via distributors, except in Czech Republic and Slovakia where we have opened a branch and local operations early 2022. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the monthly S&OP process to get the consensus forecast for the regions, present the overview to senior stakeholders and ensure stock availability while minimizing the impact of supply chain losses.

 
In brief- you will be responsible for

·       Business Cycle Leadership: Lead the S&Op cycle for EE to manage multiple markets, based on forecast review, consolidation, and agreement with cross-functional teams in sales, finance and Supply planning and present the overview of forecasts with risks and opportunity to the leadership team.

·       Demand Planning Process: Support and develop the Demand Planning process using forecasting tools and statistical modelling of sales history at a key account level, monitoring sales/stock position provided by distributors. Collaborate with external distributors stakeholders to drive a consensus forecast.

·       People Management: you will have a team of 3 planners who you will be responsible to manage, lead and deliver the agenda through.

·       Review Meetings: Prepare & lead local monthly Demand Review, Sales Review and Reconciliation Review meetings.

·       Digital improvements: Develop and Migrate the current ways of works into more digital and automated workflow to bring more efficiencies to the business.

·       Business Support: support the business finding alternative options to overcome stock shortages (change of EPNs, reworks, re-stickering, etc.)

·       Training: Provide external training to new customers on tools and deadlines needed for the business cycle.

Qualification and Hard requirements: 

·       At least 5 to 7 years of supply chain management experience preferably in FMCG. 

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Able to work independently but with a team spirit.

·       Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

·       In depth understanding and experience of the end-to-end supply chain.

 

Preferred Skills

·       Experience working in Distributor go to Market Model.

·       2 years of People Management experience

·       Knowledge of SAP and O9 (preferred)

·       Direct or Indirect People Management

·       Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, Forecasting modelling, Power Query)

·       Programming languages will be a competitive advantage (SQL, DAX)
