POSITION SUMMARY
**Primarily Stand-up Forklift**
Under the direction of the supervisor, this person is responsible for moving pallets of finished goods from production lines, entering data into inventory and storing finished goods in the warehouse or load directly onto trucks. This person has the responsibility to operate under the Kraft Heinz Safety values.
Shift Available: Monday- Friday, 11p- 7:30a
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· In a high paced environment, move materials and products using material handling equipment (forklift certification required) at speeds up to 8 mph. Potential hazards include pedestrians, narrow passageways and equipment.
· Perform distribution activities such as picking, replenishing, re-warehousing, shipping, truck loading, truck receiving and line receiving in compliance with all federal, state, local and company GMP requirements. (This includes inspection of all vehicles prior to loading Kraft products on outbound vehicles.)
· Ensure refrigeration is turned on and verify correct temperature prior to loading refrigerated vehicles.
· Monitor code date rotation of product stored and shipped.
· Correctly prepare all documentation associated with these functions, including vehicle seals after loading trucks.
· Understanding of and ability to work with computerized warehousing, shipping and receiving system to accurately track product movement.
· Recognize special handling needs of products (stretch wrap, slip sheets, refrigeration, etc.)
· Create and complete bills of lading for products shipped to outside storage. Ensure seals are in place prior to vehicle leaving the property.
· Insure proper condition and overall appearance of products received or shipped including correct code dates, bar-code information, case quality and quantity.
· Cross-train on and cover other positions in Distribution and Receiving as needed.
· All positions within the plant, “This position also has accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Garland QRMP accountability documents.
· This person has the responsibility to operate under the Kraft Heinz Safety Values.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Computer experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read and interpret documents related to scheduling, delivery and inventory of materials, work instructions, forecasts and other work-related documents. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees. Must be able to write clearly and legibly and communicate information to other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
