E&I Planner – Maintenance Planner
Compensation: Pay Range: $ 44.30-48.08
Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this position will be to plan and schedule orders for direct materials used in manufacturing plants. This involves determining appropriate lead times, inventory levels, and scheduling delivery dates based on various factors such as supplier availability, transportation logistics, and production schedules.
The individual in this role will also be responsible for communicating with internal departments, external suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfillment and minimize disruptions to plant operations. Additionally, they may assist in managing relationships with key suppliers and monitoring their performance against agreed-upon service standards.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material procurement processes.

Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts for goods and services.

Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with quality control standards.

Provide guidance and support to junior team members regarding supply chain management best practices.

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to supply chain optimization.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols when handling hazardous materials or equipment.

Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing overall operational effectiveness.
Qualifications

Proven track record of successfully planning and executing complex projects within tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel.

Knowledge of ERP systems and familiarity with common supply chain software applications.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
