Are you looking to launch your career further in Food Safety and Quality (FSQ)? Do you want to join a dynamic team with a proven track record of internal growth and career advancement opportunities? We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Safety Quality auditor to join our team in Auckland, where you will play a key role in managing activities related to Food Safety and Quality for Ingredient and Packaging material vendors, and contribute to the development of Key Quality Strategies and systems for Kraft Heinz.

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Ensure compliance to Supplier Global Expectations Standards and manage an audit schedule for Suppliers according to risk assessment and required schedule

Complete audit reports effectively, communicate major issues to suppliers and the wider business as required, and manage and resolve FSQ issues with Suppliers within the portfolio of responsibility

Manage and resolve FSQ issues with External Manufacturers (EM's) in the portfolio of responsibility, and manage serious incidents and impact as they occur

Liaise with other Kraft Heinz Supply Chain Quality teams in the Business Unit (BU) to ensure a coordinated and optimized supplier approval and management strategy

Collaborate with site FSQ Leads and teams, and coordinate regular meetings to discuss ongoing issues with suppliers

Ensure all Suppliers have been assessed against Supplier Platinum Rules and drive to 100% compliance with stakeholders

Implement and ensure the effectiveness of risk reduction and cost reduction programs
-
Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz FSQ, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Ethical & Human Resource Policies, programs, and goals
About you:
-
Have proven experience in a Food Safety Quality auditing position
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Science or Bachelors degree in Food Science & Nutrition
-
Have strong attention to detail, problem solving, and analytical skills
-
Possess good communication skills with the ability to challenge and manage relationships cross functionally
-
Be willing to travel in New Zealand domestically and to Australia as required
-
Hold a valid New Zealand driver’s license.
